start from tabA and choose existing worksheet: tabB in the pivot wizard

1

Select the data on tabA (or just one cell of it)

2

Insert \ PivotTable (for xl 07 and up)

3

Existing Worksheet

4

Select the cell on tabB where you want to start your pivot
or start from tabB and choose data from tabA in the pivot wizard.
