My Boot drive c:\Documents and Settings\...  icon has changed from the standard folder to a half video with a boxed arrow on top.  When I right click the Documentes and Settings icon,
the dialog box does not populate properly.

I'm missing the:

Size on Disk:

Parameters on the dialogue.

I only get the Type:  File Folder and a blank Target..

When I go to the Security Tab the "Group or User names:" box is missing the Users entrys.

How do I get those back??

Thanks you for your help..

The Documents and Settings folder in Vista and Windows 7 is a Junction that is designed for Legacy Installations for applications that have been designed for Windows XP. When you install these applications they will be redirected to the new location.

It has been named C:\Users

Have a look here if you are not familiar with junctions.
