Windows Log in scripts for Beginners - Resources Available?

I would like to create log in scripts and am looking for resources on line so that I can learn about them.

A login script is just a script that runs at at login to setup certain things for the user.  If you know what you need to do for the user (like connecting network drives, etc) then you can use whatever script you want.  One of the better sites for learning scripting (not just login scripts) is www.robvanderwoude.com - and a great reference for writing batch scripts (and possibly others, though I generally use it for batch) is www.ss64.com

And the kind of script you use depends on your environment, what you need to do, and what scripting language you know.  Just like you can say "hello" in many different languages, you can map a drive in many different languages - PowerShell, KiXtart, Batch, VBS, etc.
