Add margin-bottom:0 to the second paragraph tag in the header
and margin-top:0 to the paragraph tag in the footer.

since you're using fixed heights for your layout, you could add an overflow rule to them. That'll take care of the gaps, without having to reset margins on specific h or p elements.

but keep in mind that you will get scrollbars when your content exceeds the specified height.
