Windows 2008 Server

Windows 2008 Server - various versions
Hi,

I like to download Windows 2008 R2 from Microsoft Volume Licensing site, but there are so many versions of them and I am confused. Can you explain to me why there are so many? Like I understand the difference between W2008 and W2008R2, obviously W2008R2 is newer, but what is the diff betw (3) & (4), (5) & (6)?
Also (7)-(9) are without Hyper-V. Why someone would want the software without the Hyper-V? To save disk space ?
Basically what I like to download is latest Windows 2008 R2 with the most recent service pack without Hyper-V function because I am doing to use W2012 for Visualization.

(1) Windows Server Standard 2008
(2) Windows Server Standard 2008 R2
(3) Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 Service Pack1
(4) Windows Server Standard 2008 R2 with SP1
(5) Windows Server Standard 2008 Service Pack 2
(6) Windows Server Standard 2008 with Service Pack 2
(7) Windows Server Standard 2008 without Hyper-V
(8) Windows Server Standard 2008 without Hyper-V Service Pack 2
(9) Windows Server Standard 2008 Without hyper-V with Service Pack 2
