How do I attach storage spaces automatically at boot time in server 2012 for workgroups.

In Windows 8 previously created storage spaces automatically appear under their designated drive letters under 'Computer' after restart. Not so in server 2012, they have to be explicitly attached using the Server Manager dashboard at every restart, which seems kind of silly on a workgroup server with a storage pool on locally attached drives.

Any way to make Server 2012 work like Windows 8 (both are RTM versions)

I've found the answer. From powershell:

    Set-VirtualDisk -FriendlyName myspacename -IsManualAttach 0
