What is a Dynamic Proxy (specifically in .Net)?

I'm new to the world of the .Net Entity Framework.
I've  seen references to the concept of a "Dynamic Proxy."

What exactly is a "Dynamic Proxy?"

What does this mean in terms of the .Net architecture/framework?

    Get a simple object and by dynamic proxy we can make  simple object into a more powerful  object. Below article gives you more information
