Is Citrix XenApp 6.5 and XenApp 4.5 has any issue with VM 5.1?

Hello there,

I have XA 6.5 farm implemented using Citrix PVS 6.0 and VM hypervisor (4.1) and couple of XA 4.5 farm servers as VM's.

VM Admin is in the process of upgrading his from 4.1 to new 5.1. Will there be any issue for my XA farm servers upon upgrade?

Is there any doco or white paper suggesting that it is compatible with VM 5.1.

Please advise.

In the following KB article it does not mention the version of VM, is it a problem only for VM 5.0 U1?

We currently have all Workload servers, HA pair of Provisioning Services, Zone Data Collector running on VM 4.1. We use Citrix Profile management, which deletes user profile upon log off.

I am not a VM Admin, therefore should I advise VM Admin tht when he install the Vmtools, he should not use the shared folders option?

Please advise.

I have seen the issue more with 4.1 than with 5.0, The shared folder feature would not be used and has been something I have been doing on all VM builds as a standard.
