Cant send external to internal mail

I am getting delivery status notifacation errors when trying to reply to an externally bound email. I.e. if I send an email from me@work.com to me@hotmail.com it arrives in my @hotmail.com mailbox but when I try and reply, or compose a new email to me@work.com I am getting delivery failure notices every time. If someone at work i.e. them@work.com sends an email to me@work.com it comes through fine. Any ideas. I have 2x SMTP addresses configured for incoming mail into the same exch2010 mailbox if thats of any factor in this.

"no such user here"

That suggests that the default email address is invalid on your email account.

Is the default address a .local address?

Please check the account in Bold via the Exchange Management Console and modify accordingly.

If I send to  my other SMTP address it comes through fine, i.e. me@work2.com ( both me@work.com and me@work2.com) are config'd to the same mailbox. Outgoing always appears as me@work.com both mail to me@work.com and me@work2.com both come into same mailbox.

From a live.com mailbox, "delivery to the following recipients failed"

Action: failed status: 5.5.0 Diagnsotic-code: smtp;550 no such user here

It was an issue with the MX records

Ah - well done for solving it.

That would be the next question as if you default account was fine, then the emails would probably be arriving at the wrong server.
