How much do you want to spend? It doesn't have to be exact, but it's really important to have at least a ballpark range. There are multi-function (printer/scanner) devices that cost around a hundred dollars and ones that cost thousands of dollars. Also, it would be good to know your basic requirements...and all of these questions apply to both printing and scanning: color or just black&white? duplex (double-sided) or just simplex (single-sided)? speed needed (pages per minute)? duty cycle needed (pages per day)? Once we get answers to these questions, or at least a budgetary cost figure, we'll be able to make some recommendations. Regards, Joe

    Thanks Joe !

    In the $300 range

    print and scan color

    Simplex is fine

    no duty cycle needed

I don't need speed on the printing but no jam or fluid printing I mean the last printer I had was sometime taking 3 pages instead of one etc .

low ink consumption or easy set up for draft printing

    good wireless

    Thanks !

You say "low ink consumption" but I'm going to interpret "ink" as "toner", as I really don't think you want ink-jet printing for a business – you should definitely get a multi-function device with color laser printing.

I'm a big fan of Brother's MFCs. I currently have four of them at three different locations, all performing very well. In the $300 price range, with color laser printing (simplex), color scanning (both flatbed and a 35-page ADF, simplex), and a wireless network interface, I recommend the Brother MFC-9325CW:

The street price is around $350:

If you're willing to go to the $500 range, I recommend the MFC-9970CDW:

This is their latest-and-greatest MFC and my most recent purchase. It has been terrific so far! It is similar to the previous one mentioned, but this one has duplex printing and duplex scanning. Street price is around $530:
