deleting and uploading new documents on Share point server 2007

Hi

We have  Microsoft Share point server 2007 version No:12.0.0.6219. I dont have any knowledge on sharepoint.

I have admin privileges. After i log in and when i click Home and on the left menu below there are list of menus available. When i click one of them it goes to the document center. In here there are many oudated documents which i want to delete and upload new documents.

Any tutorial will be much appreciated.

Thanks

Hello

You can go to the document center and on the right corner under view change it to explorer view
There you would see all the list of document in it
You can delete it normally as you delete a file on a drive or folder.

Shailendra

If you open the document library in explorer view it doesn't matter if it is in within the server or on a network drive you can delete the document directly from there that you don't want to list in sharepoint.
