We are using the application of portable rdp5 to access a windows 2008 terminal services server and get an error of:
" Because of a security error, the client could not connect to the remote computer. Verify that you are logged on to the network, and then try connecting again."

This client is used to be compatable with our sso software and window 2008 server (non r2). The client will connect with no problems on 5 other 2008 terminal servers, 3 being in a VM environment and 2 being stand alone. Again all are non R2. All of the terminal servers are configed the same in the terminal server configuration setting. There must be something i am overlooking in ther setup of these 2.Thanks, DeWayne

The only thing I can think of is that you haven't checked the "Allow connections from Computers running any version of Remote Desktop (Less Secure)" box on the server.

That option is checked.
