Server 03 printer share with 64 bit drivers

Here's a head scratcher.I installed a printer on a server 03 machine.Shared it out with 32 bit drivers. Some clients will want to connect but need 64 bit drivers. I went to install additional drivers for the printer. The 64 bit check box was there.I checked it and browsed out to the folder that contained the 64 bit drivers. When opening the folder there was nothing there. The drivers are there but do not appear when trying to install the additional drivers.

Unzip those drivers to a folder so you have access to the inf file.

On the print server, you will need to copy the drivers into the folder:

C:\Windows\System32\spool\drivers\x64

You are going to have to look through each one to be sure that you have the 64-bit folders/files inserted into..

To further help, you may also need to trawl in the registry in the following location:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers
