Server 2008 R2 RDS setup
Hi guys,
I thought I had RDS under control...but looks like I don't.
I got an RDS server which is licensed for 6 users. I have aded there are thin clients in the business and it seems that I have to delete the RDS certificate on the thin clients as they're only valid for 3 months. The Server 2003 TS server didn't do this. This is issue number one.
Can someone please confirm if there is a restriction after 6 users? I know in previous versions of windows (at least with CALs), it use to actually limit system resources if the CALs limit was exceeded. Is it the same with RDS CALs? or have they relaxed this like user/device CALs now?
Can anyone tell me where I should start? Attached is a screenshot of the licensing manager.
Thanks
