Hi Experts,

I am working on Visual Studio 2005 and Visual Source Safe 2005.

Developing code in 2.0 using C#

I have checked out the files from VSS and I made changes to a particular file. I am able to see the changes at the local file system.
But when I close the solution and reopen it - all the changes made to the checked out files are lost. I am unable to find the changes in the local file system as well.
But the file is still checkout.

If anyone of you had faced such issue or have an clue on the same please do inform me.

Please suggest

    Accepted Solution

from VSS please check it's path and map to yours local path of files.
then simply checkIn and checkOut works.
if also issue exists then try to new copy at new location before that on server checkIn should be done.

    Thanks for your reply

When we are checkin or checkout then VSS shows file is checked in or checked out.

If we checkin the file then we have no issue. But if donot checkin the file and file is checked out.

All changes to file goes off, means we cannot see our changes. We see files is identical to VSS file
