How to export DB to other server that is encrypted in SQL 2008 R2?

This is using 2 MS SQL 2008 R2 servers. On DB server 1, there is a database that is encrypted. My boss wants us to move this DB to another server - DB server 2. I am clear about the migration - use export and import; but, the problem is since the db is encryption, what should I do to it ? Please show step-by-step.

Thanks in advance.

Hi all,

1.      Rename the 2 Key files extention in the folder D:\keys to

2.      Run the below query in the master DB

                     CREATE CERTIFICATE PRODDBCert
                     FROM FILE='D:\keys\ExportedPRODDECert'
                     WITH PRIVATE KEY(
                     FILE='D:\Keys\RPODDB_Key', DECRYPTION BY PASSWORD='P@ssword')
