I have been told that Exchange Server 2003 had a feature where email attachments were automatically quarantined into the server quarantine folder.

Is this possible in Exchange 2010 on a SBS2011 platform?

If so, Can anyone give steps to configure this?

Nothing exists natively with SBS 2011 - you would have to look at a 3rd party add-on to provide that sort of facility.

If you have a separate Edge Transport server in your network, then you can filter attachments, but with a single SBS 2011 server, 3rd party is your only option.

is there a way of moving the entire email into the Quarantine folder?

No - not without a 3rd party product such as Vamsoft ORF which we use for all our SBS 2011 servers and it has just seen a new version released and is about the best anti-spam product I have ever seen / used.

You might be able to configure the built-in Anti-Spam tools to quarantine spam emails, but to be honest I have never had any good experiences with them and only use a couple in conjunction with ORF and get amazing results.

No problems - shout if you like it and need help configuring it optimally.

They offer a 45-day trial too, so plenty of time to get used to it and make it work happily for you.
