I need to install client access role on an Exchange 2007 cluster.  Is this possible?  What is the process?

I have Exchange backup software that uses the client access role to query the Exchange DB's.. Couldn't I install client access role in a different server and then install my backup software on the server that has the client access role installed?

Please refer below article regarding Move an Existing Single Server to a New CCR Environment

Using this you are not require  to install client access role in a different server and then install my backup software on the server.

This article help you to move mailbox server role to another server.

I just found out that there is a dedicated server running Client Access Role already.  I would assume I can just install the backup software on that server and I'm good?  correct?
