SBS 2003 password

Do you have any other Domain Admin accounts setup on the server that you can log in to another computer and then reset the account from?

net user administrateur new_password

You can try this method if you remeber what you set the Directory Restore password as.

No i don't have other admin account...

When i use reset password tool, this is not working.

I say " blank the password" for "Administrateur" then i restart and it's not working...it's still say wrong password.

I suppose this is available for Server 2003 and not SBS 2003..

if i can access to local administrator i know there is a procedure to correct domain admin...
But i just can't reset local password.

Can someone who has already sucess to this reset/modify password help me?

Try  booting into Directory Restore Service Mode that uses the account you are trying to reset this will let you in to the system.

But i need first to access locally in DRSM mode...
Well tomorrow i'll try again to set blank administrator password...
or maybe enhance guest user to admin group...

Well...I am ashamed.

I didn' see to make change working with http://pogostick.net/~pnh/ntpasswd/ i had to quit after the password reset and then save the change.


I was just resetting administrateur password and then resarting with ctrl-alt-del...my mistake...

Btw my Administrator accound was also desactivate so i had to unlock it also.

After getting access to my server in DRSM mode i followed with success this tutorial.
