We have a Windows 2003 server and are going to Windows 2008.  It is a file server and we have about 500GB of data we want to transfer.  I need a 3rd party tool I'm willing to buy that will move everything most importantly maintaining security and shares.  After I can rename the server, but Xcopy and Microsoft toolkit have been looked at but I'm looking for something that may help get it done quicker.  Anybody use anything they can recommend?

Use the Windows File Migration tool. It can copy over multiple shares and keeps NTFS Security settings. It will also recreate the shares for you.
