Cisco and 3com switch giving 100mbps
Hi we have a combination of Cisco Catalyst 3560g and 3com baseline switch 2824 switches
My question is:
Is it possible that users can have 1GBPS network speed for 3com? currently we're getting 100mbps only.
We have IP phone daisychained to PC.
When i connect the PC to cisco i am getting 1 Gbps but in 3com only 100mbps.
Thanks in advance

No, 3com Baseline 2824 is only 100mbps
Sorry, according to http://www.sj.ifsc.edu.br/~msobral/IER/roteiros/3Com-2824.pdf
3com 2824 is a Gigabyte switch
So when you plug a PC or Iphone you get 100mbps?

Thanks for the replies. Yes i got only 100mbps.
And if you plug the same PC or ip phone with the same cable to Cisco switch you get 1Gbs?
ASKER
Yes correct.
What if you hard set 1Gb on PC and connect it to 3com?

Its a Gigabit NIC but i cannot see 1GBps option, now i set to "auto" but still getting 100mbps.
What else do you have in there except auto?
ASKER
