Running Logoff Script takes 5 minutes on Windows XP SP3 w/ all updates

Windows XP SP3 w/ all updates takes 5 minutes during "running logoff scripts" when user logs off computer.
We are using McAfee 8.5 with latest updates from server, workstation is receiving McAfee OK. ran ccleaner and it registry cleaner, ran spybot 1.62, Malwarebytes. used Profile Hive Cleanup.exe, group policy locally do not have any settings both under computer and user. Group Policy coming down from DC does not have any setting on Shutdown. DC's GP on startup downloads drive mappings. Performed gpupdate & gpresult OK  Used flushdns, release, renew then changed to static IP. ran netsh int ip reset, netsh winsock reset catalog, netsh interface ip delete arpcache.Disabled & Enabled NIC, , Reset IE defaults

No matter what users logs off it takes 5 minutes during "running logoff scripts"

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Is there a script in C:\Windows\System32\GroupPolicy\User\Scripts\Logoff ? It is not clear from above.

Is the workstation trying to sync offline files on logoff?  Is there email synchronization happening at logoff?

Sorry for confusion, No there was no script running under c:\windows\system32\groupPolicy\users\scripts\logoff

No workstation  not trying to sync offline files at logoff-- Computer Config--Admin Temp-Network-Offline Files   DISABLE for Synchronize all offline files when logging on    DISABLE-Synchronize all offlines files before logging off     DISABLE-Synchronize offline files before suspend

No outlook client setup on workstation, using Outlook Web Access.
Thanks, Barb
