Internet Explorer; issues loading web pages
Hi
I have a client, who is opening a web page using his favourites, but the page just seems to constantly loads for a few minutes and nothing happens, but if he opens a new tab and tries the link again, the page opens after a couple of seconds and works fine.
Does anyone know the fault and how to resolve this?
The internet connection is working fine and it has a good speed.
Thanks

I have tried resetting IE but the issue is still there
Make a new Windows username profile and try this in the new profile. There may be something in the current user profile causing issues. .... Thinkpads_User

The clients are on a domain, it doesn't happen all the time, the issue is very hit and miss. So i cant test if it works on another user because it doesn't all ways happen.
the issue is very hit and miss
As I noted, I am seeing that issue today, and I see it occassionally when there is big news. So given that it is hit and miss, the best I can suggest is to keep profile in mind and test on other computers from time to time and see what happens.
Make certain your company antivirus is a good commercial product, is up-to-date and is scanning regularly.

Go to tools, internet options, advanced tab, scroll down to the bottom and put a check next to SSL 3.0, 2.0, and TLS 1.0 Also your favorites might be saving a cached look of the web page, try deleting it and adding it back.

only solution to work
So next, try an IE Reset. IE, Tools, Internet Options, Advanced and Reset. This clears out forms, temp files and takes IE back to out-of-the-box condition. See if that helps.
