recovering offline .EDB file - Exchange 2007

I need a free utility that will read and offline .EDB file and allow me to extract to .PST or extract in general.  Anything out there?

Kernel and Ontrack can be used and are free tools and can allow you to extract data.

As I understand OnTrack only allows some emails to be extracted in demo/free mode and this is how all of the pay versions are.
I mentioned OFFLINE.  To my knowledge ExMerge doesn't work offline...  the DB is offline.. No system state backup matching the DC that it was on...  OnTrack is not free nor is the other one.. Not free in a sense to where you can actually use it to export ALL emails.
To my knowledge ExMerge doesn't work offline...  the DB is offline - It wants the Data to be Online.

You can always use VirtualPC2007SP1 to install a Virtal environment and get the data restored and exmerged to PST :) .... Agree that its a bit of hard task but if done with time can get all set within few hours.

okay.. So based on what I've read on all major vendors who have offline EDB data recovery there is no free version that extracts all data to a PST or to an online mailbox.  The trial versions are limited.. ExMerge will not work and powershell is not meant for offline DB's..
Agree .... so options could be to get a Virtual server and get the data extracted or else go for some cost on 3rd party.

If this is production and users have Outlook in cache mode you can extract the data to PST from OST

Please check this for once off conversion of edb for few bucks (<$100)

I was looking for a free option which doesn't exist when dealing with offline edb files. I do appreciate the http://www.clickzones.net/ post for this is an inexpensive option but not a free one.  I'll stick with Lucid 8 for its not cheap but it allows me to open offline EDB files and even send the mail to a different production server that can even be a different domain or exchange server.
