Can this driver be used basically for any Intel architecture.  There is only a single download, so it looks like one driver serves all.

Is that correct ??

Those drivers will work for any machine with Broadcom's NetXtreme II 10 Gigabit Ethernet controllers: 57710, 57711, 57711E, 57712, 57800, 57810 running the listed version of OS.

From what I read in the user manual, yes it does support any Intel chipset and MB.
