    Accepted Solution

Assuming 'the data' means 'the data in the Excel doc'.

    Is this an option?
    *  Use a File System Task to delete the Excel doc
    *  Then pump the data, which creates a new Excel doc?

I've experienced various issues with pumping data to an existing Excel doc, where it pumps starting at the row at the end of the previous dump, and using named ranges wasn't able to resolve it.

    Assisted Solution

You can also keep an empty version of the workbook in another folder as a template, delete the existing one, and copy the template version in over where it was. This also allows you to have permanent/persistent stuff in the Excel - like headers, f'rinstance.
