SharePoint Document Library Navigation Error

I have a site with a doc library in it.  The doc library has multiple folders.  When I go to the site I have page that has a web part on it that displays the doc library. There are no files in the root of the doc library and it displays the folders.  Good so far.  If i click on a folder it works fine inside of the web part.

If I go to "All site Content" and click on the doc library I get a blank page that says 404 page cannot be found.

If I take the url for the library and put it into windows explorer then it displays the files as expected like any other folder.

I can copy and paste files to the folders using windows explorer but i can't view the doc library in the browser.

Any ideas?

    Accepted Solution

    clcik on Site Actions-->Site Settings
    Site Libraries and Lists (in the Site Administration column)
    click Customize "yourdoclibrary"
    check which view has been compromised (edit the default and see if it's coming back correctly). change the default to some other one if available or just create a new one and set it as default

    the webpart is using a separate view, not displayed here... that's why it's accessible (yet)
