IIS7 and the ASP Classic Mime Type

I have setup an web application 4.0 framework.

I have a few asp classic pages I need to display.

I have added the asp mime type application/asp and even tried application/x-asp. I have changed the application pool from integrated to classic. Restarted and I still cannot get my asp classic page to load.

Instead it keeps asking if I want to download the page when we hit the page.

Any ideas?

ASP pages deliver 'text/html'.     Classic ASP is Not Installed by Default on IIS 7.0 and IIS 7.5.  See here:

Not exactly.  In Windows Vista or Windows 7, it must be installed thru the Control Panel and not Administrative tools.
