isa 2006 - log viewer query

hi

ans1. after looking on experts-exchange.com site ive found a 'url', but im not sure what (.exe) file to download ?

in isa under 'logging' tab ive selected the following:

- configure firewall logging - saved in d:\isalogs
under file format: selected isa server file format

- configure web proxy logging - saved in d:\webproxyisalogs
under file format: selected isa server file format

ive selected the above because the (?) states if i save it in this format i can download some log viewer and view online or something.

hi thanks for the response ive now downloaded and installed it temporarily on my isa server.

ive noticed that the datacenter within the package has detected my isa server name, although there appears to be no connectivity and even though i changed the name to the isa/internal nic as advised, it appears i still have no connection.

so tomorrow i will return and have to browse the website ie gettig started & other screenshots to get this up & running, although i (was not expecting all these extras as it now seems to have confused me) as all i currently wish to do is (open up specifically those logs i save in the d: - uuuumm

hi santasi24, apologies for taking sometime! i still have not managed get the connectivity with the software i installed. can you give some advice ?

hi santasi24, even though i have not yet got this software sync'd with my isa 2006 server ive decided to allocate points as normal.

i will though may have to re-download as i think the evaluation period has lapsed and try again and this time hopefully i will be able to enable it!!

even though i have not got the sync with both the software and my isa server yet, i will however allocate the points and spend time going through the specific website on how to activate the software with my isa. either way i will allocates points as normal.
