moss 2007 subsite not opening giving error as 'Accessor is invalid'

my subsite was working fine till  yesterday. it has suddenly stopped working now and giving a error as per attached file. the subsite is at third level of hierarchy e.g: 3 is the problem. i am unable to create any subsite at sub2 now but i am able to do so at sub1.
rest the site is working fine

    Please restrart your SQL server service and sharepoint timer services on all WFEs.

    do you have forefront recently installed/modified on the server?

    i had to resore the subsite from backup..could not wait.
