Error opening EMC on new Exchange 2010 coexist 2003

I have problems opening the EMC. Received the error like below from CAS2 server

the attempt to connect to http://server/PowerShell using "Kerberos" authentication failed: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : Access is denied.

on the Mailbox2 server I received the error:

the attempt to connect to http://server/PowerShell using "Kerberos" authentication failed: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : The WinRM client cannot process the request. It cannot determine the content type of the HTTP response from the destination compiter. The content type is absent or invalid.

I have no issue opening EMC from CAS1 server and Mailbox1 server.

I also receives error running from the shell as below:

Has Powershell sent you back into the Stone Age?

If managing Active Directory using Windows Powershell® is making you feel like you stepped back in time, you are not alone.  For nearly 20 years, AD admins around the world have used one tool for day-to-day AD management: Hyena. Discover why.

Update:

Sometime after a few retry logging in and of using an alternate Exchange Admin account I might got connected to the EMC and EMS.
But immediately after I do a test reboot I will receive the same error:

the attempt to connect to http://server/PowerShell using "Kerberos" authentication failed: Connecting to remote server failed with the following error message : Access is denied.

and on the Mailbox server I no longer received the old error after I did a reinstallation of the WinRM IIS Services but receiving the access is denied error this time.

Please help. Thanks.

Shreedhar EtteCommented:
Does it was AVG?

Have you rebooted after removal?

Manpreet SIngh KhatraSolutions Architect, Project LeadCommented:
There is a Ker called VirusScan you have to put the Enabled Dword value to 0 and the restart the server and check all together

Is the Ipv6 disabled or enabled ?
Is the server having only one NIC or multiple and some is Disconnected\Disabled state ?

The AV was MS Essentials, and I have rebooted the machine but still not solving.

Where can I find the key for VirusScan?

The IPv6 is enabled.
Yes we have multiple NIC and all are connected.

Manpreet SIngh KhatraSolutions Architect, Project LeadCommented:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\CurrentControlSet\Services\MSExchangeIS\VirusScan

artcrestAuthor Commented:
The key for VirusScan does not exist. Should I be creating it?

Manpreet SIngh KhatraSolutions Architect, Project LeadCommented:
No no need if its not there.

so both EMC and EMS are not opening .... All Services are running and no issues with OWA or anything.

artcrestAuthor Commented:
Yes, all services are running. OWA and all email flow is working. I just can't access EMC and EMS.

But sometimes after a few login and off I manage to get the EMC initialize. When I do a test restart on that server the EMC failed to initialize giving the same access denied error.

Manpreet SIngh KhatraSolutions Architect, Project LeadCommented:
Can you install just the EMC and EMS on some client machine and try to access Exchange and check ?

Is there any event ID in the app logs on the server when you try to access EMC or EMS and get some error.

- Rancy

artcrestAuthor Commented:
Hi Rancy,

Installing on the client gives the same error.

But I found out the EMC and EMS will not have error when the server was restarted and the logon server is pointing to AD 2008 but when the logon server was pointing to AD 2003 it will gives that Access Denied error.

Is there a way I could set the AD 2008 to be the preferred logon server everytime it restarted.

Thanks.
