Webmail and DNS

Hi,
A client recently switched to a new domain hosting service. After attempting to login to their webmail service unsuccessfully, I discovered that the new host uses "mail2web.com", and that the site I was attempting to use at "webmail.client's_domain.com" was the site provided by the previous host.

Does this indicate that something needs to be updated with the DNS, or some other domain setting?

Thanks!

Who handled the DNS for the domain?

If you give us the domain it would be a lot easier to answer your questions.

Of course. The domain is "williamspha.com". It is registered through network solutions. The registry data is:

 Domain Name: WILLIAMSPHA.COM
   Registrar: NETWORK SOLUTIONS, LLC.
   Whois Server: whois.networksolutions.com
   Referral URL: http://www.networksolutions.com/en_US/
   Name Server: NS-1215.AWSDNS-23.ORG
   Name Server: NS-1606.AWSDNS-08.CO.UK
   Name Server: NS-262.AWSDNS-32.COM
   Name Server: NS-970.AWSDNS-57.NET
   Status: clientTransferProhibited
   Updated Date: 26-jul-2012
   Creation Date: 26-aug-1999
   Expiration Date: 26-aug-2015
The webmail.williamspha.com is the cpanel for webmail.  Log in there and check your options.  I never used firehost so I dont know what options will be available to you.

No, that's exactly the question I am posting. That webmail control panel you are seeing at webmail.williamspha.com has nothing to do with the new hosting service. It is from the previous host.

Wait a minute. Or is it from the current host and they just won't give us access? If I attempt to login there with known working credentials for one of our email accounts, it gets rejected.

The new host has directed us to mail2web.com for webmail service.
webmail.williamspha.com is pointing to a firehost (new hosting service?).  So what you are seeing is the control panel for the new hosting company.
