HP Elitebook 2740p SSL VPN issues

I have a FortiGate 110C set up with SSL VPN access. The VPN works fine on any computer except the HP Elitebook 2740p tablets. The Elitebooks are Windows7 Professional 64-bit. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the VPN client several times, uninstalled the HP wireless assistant, I have disabled IPv6 on all of the network adapters, I have disabled Windows Firewall and Antivirus, I have tested with multiple VPN user accounts, I have tried to connect to the VPN over a wired and wireless connection and both do not work. The VPN passes authentication but the status hangs at 98% connected, but at this point I am unable to access any resources.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Make sure that you are running with the latest firmware version on FortiGate. Which will give you the latest SSL client software. Or download latest SSL client software from their support website.

    Good Luck!

Firmware and software are up to date. Thanks for the response though!

The FortiClient is still only getting to 98% even after I re installed the OS. I am able to ping and access network resources (not reliably). Any advice would be appreciated.

Looks like SSL VPN driver is conflicting with the system network drivers. It would be better to contact Fortinet Support to get it fixed.

    Good Luck!
