Thanks in advance for everyone's help.  I have a windows XP computer that had issues with hyperlinks in Outlook.  I applied the fix listed in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/310049.  This fixed the problem with hyperlinks in Outlook but now all of the desktop shortcuts for web sites only open up to the user's homepage. I don't know if the shortcuts worked before the MS "Fix It" or not. The path in the shortcut properties looks fine. Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Now I feel a little dumb.  I went in to Internet options and reset everything under the advanced tab and now the shortcuts work fine.
