Exchange in Two different ADs & Forests

Hi Experts,
I have two domains in two separate forests i.e Alocal & Blocal. Both forests have their own Exchange& AD. We have connected both sites(One Public IP) and I can ping servers by IP on both ends. I can not send email from exchange server at Alocal to Blocal because the emails are considering Exchange server at Blocal as an external server. I have track the email & emails are going out of the network and it can not reach the Blocal because it has the same public IP.
I created a secondary DNS ZONE on Alocal DNS server & created a static entry for Blocal SMTP but still emails are going out of the network.
How I can make both exchange servers local so emails from *@Alocal goes directly to *@BLocal

Don't complicate matters.
Simply create a Send/SMTP connector on each server, set the Name Space as the domain for the other site, and then use a smart host and enter the Internal IP address of the other server. That will override anything else, such as DNS. The DNS zone you created can be dropped.

Simon,
Thanks for your quick reply, can you refer to any article on how I can do that? I have not done this in past & I don't want to mess up with my production servers.

There is nothing more to it than I have already written. New SMTP Connector in ESM if Exchange 2003, New Send Connector if Exchange 2007 and higher.

Nothing ever in the clear!

This technical paper will help you implement VMware’s VM encryption as well as implement Veeam encryption which together will achieve the nothing ever in the clear goal. If a bad guy steals VMs, backups or traffic they get nothing.
