On some of my forms in my access application, if I select a form field and then select the filter button on the toolbar  the possilbe values are not shown.  What causes this?

My first thought would be to make sure there are values available in the column you are trying to sort by.  Since its just a collection of fields used in the column, (not all the possibilities, unless you are querying an entire table)  I would presume it means those are just null, or empty of some sort.

Beyond that I'm not to sure.  Could you post a screen shot of it?

So on the first one, is there anything aside from "Test Scenario 5"?  I'm guessing if there is only 1 value, it might not offer field selection, though that seems weird because why would it offer you sorting, if it chose to remove other similar options in that case.

Perhaps that is it.  Aside from that, I'm not too sure.

Nothing ever in the clear!

This technical paper will help you implement VMware’s VM encryption as well as implement Veeam encryption which together will achieve the nothing ever in the clear goal. If a bad guy steals VMs, backups or traffic they get nothing.

There's 17 different test scenarios in that field

Another question:  What is the datatype?  perhaps Blob or Text?  Or perhaps even VARCHAR past a certain length?  I imagine a sorting algorythm might not show up if the length is past a certain point.

In both examples they are text fields limited to 255 character.
