IE Scrolling is very choppy despite lots of memory / fast laptop - chrome is fine. IE - v slow

I hve the latest IE and a fast laptop yey IE is very slow to refresh when I scroll.

Is there anything I can do appart from loading Chrome?

I would run IE without any add-ons and see if you are still having the problem.  If it runs fine, then you likely have an add-on that is slowing you down.

fcek--"In Internet Options> Advanced> Browsing, try "Use smooth scrolling" checked and unchecked" (as suggested by Don Varnau) did not help?

Can a moderator check who quoted it first as Im lost with all the posts.
