Log or report for remote connections to Exchange 2007 server?

Hi,

Is there a way to report who/when/IP is remotely connecting to their Exchange 2007 mailbox? Connections are from Outlook (RPC over https), iPhone, iPad, Android phone, etc.

Thanks,
DaveL

That is all logged by IIS, so you just need an IIS log processing tool. Loads of options to do that, both free and paid. Most of the products will need to be tweaked, because a lot of Exchange content goes through web services - internal traffic from Outlook 2007 and higher does.

You may find you have to adjust what is logged in the IIS logs within IIS manager to get all of the information that you want.

Simon.

I'd agree with Simon, personally I simply extract the data by adding stuff from IIS logs into Excel OR extract from powershell into excel and work on protocol and read what i need

However, I believe you're new so you'll need some freewares - here is the list, few of them I've used in the past and they do provide good and neat outputs.

Take a look
