CISCO CERTIFICATIONS CCNP SECURITY

I currently hold a valid CCNP certification  (Routing/Switching)

I want to study the CCNP Security Track...do I still require the CCNA-Security before I can write the professional exams???

Yes and no.

You don't have to have any certifications to take an exam. But in order to obtain the certification you must have CCNA security or CCSP cert or CCNA with an SIND exam pass.

I don't think so. Most advanced certifications have pre-reqs.
