Extract URL from Text String
Hello Experts,
I have a SQL extract in .xlsx format that contains a text string; embedded within this text string is a url. I attempted to use Excel's text-to-columns to extract this data but it's only successful ~30% of the time.
This is because the surrounding unneeded text string is in several different formats and therefore not consistent. That being said, what is consistent is that all the urls I need to extract begin with "http://" (w/o quotes) and end with ".pdf" (w/o quotes). I assume there's some vba wizard that could do this and I was wondering if they'd help me out?
Thank you
