Outlook 2007 organizer is unable to edit the meeting

The CEO's secretary is having trouble with some meetings that she creates.  She creates the meeting, some are recurring, some are single.  She goes back in and does not have the option to edit the meeting.  There is no rhyme or reason to what meetings this happens to.
We have xch 2003 sp2.
It seems to be replacing her as the meeting organizer with another email address.  Her outlook settings do not have this email address there as a selection for her data file.
She does use office communicator 2007.  Any suggestions would be helpful.  Thanks

So if the CEO and the Secratery arent the organizer, whos the organizer?

Can you have a look and see if the issue is specifically related to Appointments, Meetings, Re-curring meetings, or all day events?

Does the secratery or CEO have a mobile device thats syncing with Exchange?

On ocassion decives such as Iphone can sync with the calednar and interfear with the organizer of the appointment

My post does say that the Secretary is creating the meetings so she would be the organizer.  The type of meeting varies.
Yes the Secretary and the CEO both synch their calendar and email to their iphones.
We have others that synch their calendars to their iphones and they are not having this issue though.  I had already thought about that combination.

Yes, if the secratery creates the meeting from her calendar and invites the CEO, she would be the orgnaizer.

And Technically If shes making an appointments in someones elses calendaer she may be the "organizer" as shes organizing the meeting

However, if she makes a booking directly in the CEO's Calendar, its the CEO who is the organizer, not the secratery

"It seems to be replacing her as the meeting organizer with another email address"

So this other address or user thats made the organizer should be the CEOs

Now if she has access to add the appointment, but not edit the appointment this would indicate a couple of things

I would first check on both PCs and see if Cached Exchange Mode is ON
If it is, try tuning it off
The appointment being edited may be the cached copy, which is causing errors

I would also check the delegate settings on teh CEO's Calendar
The Secratery may onlt have author Settings on the Calendar which will allow her to add, but not edit

Alos posible the secratery may be added as a delegate twice
Perhaps once and an individual with permissions to edit, but may also be added again with reduced rights, or be a member of a group with reduced rights on the calendar

The same may also apply in AD on the CEOs MailboxRights
The Secratery may also be listed here with specific permissions that may be conflicting with delegate permissions

No.  The Ceo's email is not replacing as the organizer.  Cached mode is not on.  She has full delegate settings to the CEO's calendar.  No she is not a member of any group with reduced rights to the calendar.  She has full permission in Active directory as well with no denials.

We have determined that these issues are mainly being caused by the version of active synch we are on and the newer version the mobile devices are using.

We have decied to upgrade our server to 2010 to get closer to the newest active synch version.  Thanks for everyone's input.
