Outlook 2007 issues - send/receive

I have a client that is using Outlook 2007.  She had her account (pop3) account set up and she had me add a Gmail (imap) account to it so she could access it from her computer and phone, having them sync.  Things seem to be working correctly but she let me know Outlook was not receiving emails sent to or from her Comcast account within Outlook.

We are not receiving any error messages, messages show as being sent.  When we send messages from within Outlook her Comcast will not receive or send messages to/from her accounts within Outlook.  Her Outlook Comcast account will receive outside messages but not from her Comcast account even when opening her account in Comcast, outside of Outlook or her Gmail account (from within Outlook).  Her Gmail account in Outlook works except of course email sent to her Comcast account do not show up in Outlook but do on the Comcast Server.

Hope this makes sense...what do you make of it.

And have you tried removing the Gmail Imap account you added to see if her prevoius functionality is restored ?

If it's being sent through Outlook, it could be due to the SMTP server that you are using by default is disallowing sending from other domains, are you using GMails SMTP Server or ComCasts SMTP Server for the GMail account?

apache09 I have not tried that yet.

WotanAU I have her Outlook set up as mine - Comcast to Comcast SMTP Server and Gmail to Gmail SMTP Server.  Mine works perfectly.  I am working in Outlook 2010, although recently changed to using Google.

    Give it a go

It will tell us if thats whats caused the issue

Or if there is something else, unrelated that may be causing the problem

apache09 That didn't work.  As of now she is finding them in her junk mail.  I will be on remotely soon and double check things.  Thanks!

She has asked me to wait resetting up her Outlook...I will be in touch soon.

She has been very non committal...I will probably reinstall Outlook if at some time she wishes...the above didn't seem to help but I am sure we would have come up with a solution if she was more willing to work it out.  Thank you for your assistance.
