Create a Service account to run SSIS packages on SQL server 2008 Agent Services

I've created a Service account to run the SSIS packages under SQL server Agent, But it did not work, as the jobs failed with the following error message.

"Unable to start execution of step 1 (reason: Could not get proxy data for proxy_id = 1).  The  step failed. "

and one things,  I've SSIS package that I've setup source connection manager on a remote server on the same domain to get the source data into my data warehouse tables.
What is the parmissions SQL server Service account should have in order to run the SSIS package without any failure.

Thanks in Advance.

I found this article that describes the situation and error you're receiving:

Essentially, it identifies the problem as an invalid set of credentials - specifically, ones that don't contain a domain name. If you re-add the credentials using "DOMAIN\Username" format instead of just "username", does the process work?

Also, you can check the SQL Agent error log directly to get a more meaningful error, as the errors returned to SSIS in cases like this can sometimes be abstracted on unclear. Does that give any more detail?

Thanks for the answer, infact, I worked out myself to find the answer which one you advice to have domain name credential with 'DOMAIN\Username' format, that was the exactly the issue.

Thanks for answering this, excellent.
