Emailing from MYOB Terminal - emails stay in Outbox until Outlook is opened on Terminal server

Hey Guys

I've got a weird issue when emailing from MYOB on a terminal server.
The email will sit in the Outlook outbox until I open Outlook on the terminal server, then the email will send.

I've tried the following:
- Removed and re-added the account
- Set - Outlook 2010, options, advanced - ticked box "send immediately when connected"
- Set send/receive to every 5min
 
Would there be another setting I am missing?
What do you guys think?

I believe MYOB uses the MAPI interface with Outlook to send emails. It does not send emails directly. Outlook should be opened before opening MYOB, just for convenience.

I have other users on the terminal server sending emails with Outlook not open.

Oh? That's quite the odd one. I was always under the impression it required Outlook to be open in the users session.

If it is working for the other users, and you have tried re-creating the users Outlook profile, I would suggest backing up their complete User Profile, deleting it, and recreating it. It sounds like there may be some MAPI records stored still in the user context that may be confusing MYOB.

I'll try deleting the user profile and recreating it.  That may help.
