Exchange 2010 - send directly out, not through other Exchange server

Have just taken over looking after an SBS2011 box, and to cut a long story short the previous guy set up a Hyper-V VM within the SBS running a trial Exchange 2010, and had everything running on that.  Don't ask me why, I have no idea!

Anyway, I've moved the mailboxes back to the SBS and have incoming mail going to it as normal.  I've fixed the SBS Internet Send connector (with "fix my network") but when I send mail it's going to the Exchange VM, then out.  Clearly before I can uninstall and remove the Exchange VM, I need to make sure the SBS can send as well as receive.

How can I stop the SBS sending all outgoing messages to the Exchange VM?

Thanks in advance

Some more info - the queue viewer shows the "Next Hop Domain" as "windows sbs internet send sbs-name" with the delivery type "SMTP Relay in Active Directory Site".

I did this already; email is still trying to go through the Exchange VM.  I just disconnected the VM, and it seems to use the SBS connector now.

I'm going to uninstall Exchange from the VM next.  So far so good, a couple of test mails just sent out.
