Hi all,

Is it possible to restore an iPhone 4 iCloud backup to an Iphone 3 with iTunes? I have logged on with iTunes with the same Apple ID as the iPhone 4 (which has died). The same account which made the iCloud backup.

As long as you use the same Apple ID and you did backup your 4 to iCloud, then you should be fine.

But can you tell me how to, because I cannot find the other devices / backups when I logon to my iPhone 3 or iCloud with that specific ID.

    There you have it:

iOS does not support restoring a backup from a newer version of iOS to a device using an older version of iOS.
Example: Restoring a backup from an iOS 5.1 device to an iOS 5.0 or iOS 4.x device is not supported.

This iPhone 3 cannot go higher than IOS4, I found out that you need an iPhone 3GS to install 5.1.1.
