Cisco 7940 - Access to settings when no CUCM present
Hi All,
As the title says is it possible to access the settings menu so I can manually enter a static ip .. tftp server etc ?
I presume this must be possible without actually having the cisco call server present ?
We are currently testing a Meraki AP and the phone is connected to it which should be connecting it to our corporate network, but it looks like it cannot see our TFTP server in the routes, so I want to enter the address manually.
Thanks.

Have tried resetting to factory default too. But when I press the settings button nothing happens when the phone comes back up.
Cheers.

The phone was connected to CUCM yes, but the settings button was accessible when on and connected.
Worst case, I can get it connected to CUCM and manually configure the phone then try it again at the different location. But I will have to wait a few days before that. So was just wondering if it would be possible to change the settings elsewere.
Cheers.
