SBS 2008 to Server 2008 Standard

I have a Dell server that came pre-installed with SBS 2008.     The company does not have a public domain, will not be hosting a website or email and there is no need for Exchange.   With the OEM license, can I do a clean install of Server 2008 Standard on the same machine?

No, SBS does not have any downgrade or alternate version rights. You will need to obtain standard locense and standard CALs.

Any specific reason why you want to go with 2008 Std as SBS has the same and as said by cgaliher you would need to by new set to Licenses for STD version

I have a need to reinstall, so I was thinking since I don't need those extra roles and services that SBS includes, why not install the slimmed down STD.   Now that I know I need to buy new licenses, I wouldn't do it.
