I am unable to find these features on Lync... I've seen third party solutions that will achieve the tasks, but the costs of these products are very high for SMB customers. (25 to 100 users)
1. Call monitoring (For example if a customer calls some supervisors would like the ability to see who they are on the call with by a phone number being displayed possibly in Lync Client along with Presence status or the Lync Attendant Application?)
2. Call Whisper/Barge in (I've seen numerous IP-PBX systems with these capabilities, but I can't seem to find anything with Lync? Scenario of this will be if a supervisor would like to join a call with out the caller knowing for training and monitoring purposes)
3. Call Recording (Lync 2010 has the feature to record calls if the call is promoted as a conference call, but nothing to record a PSTN call?)
4. Another feature I've noticed missing is with Polycom phones. If using a Polycom Microsoft optimized phone such as the CX600 IP Phone, you are able to redirect your audio to either your headset or your phone, I guess due to the USB connection. If using Polycom IP phones such as the soundpoint 450 with UC software, users don't have that ability to redirect the lync client so when they dial it will ring from their Desktop rather than a headset.
Does anyone know of any cheap application that will achieve this functionality or will any of these features be available in lync 2013?
