i am receiving this message for a user who has been off on long term leave.

i set the p/word up for them to enable them to login under active directory 2003 but when the user goes to reset the p/wprd they get the following:

'the value provided for the new p/wprd has not meet the length, complexity, or history requirements of the domain'

i have even tried myself for the user i.e logging in as them and changing it - but get same

i dont understand as I am following same format of pword for example Monday2012 but still doesnt work.

check for password complexity requirements set for your enviroment (min pass length etc.) and also be sure you are not trying to set pass which was active in near past
